A.P. stands for Acupuncture Physician. An Acupuncture Physician is skilled in the use Acupuncture.

D.O.M. stands for Doctor of Oriental Medicine. The use of this title is authorized by the Florida Acupuncture Law. Oriental Medicine includes not only Acupuncture but also Chinese Herbal Medicine which is available in pill form.

Patients may use Chinese Herbal Medicine without using Acupuncture or they may use Acupuncture without using Chinese Herbal Medicine. Or a patient may choose to use both at the same time.
