From time to time someone will tell me they are afraid of chiropractors. Usually this is because at one time or another they had a bad experience and generalized it to be what they can expect the next time. It is not necessarily true that the next experience will be like the last, but it is not a problem, other treatments are available for the conditions chiropractors treat.

There are a number of different kinds of surgery to address back problems, or problems that have their cause in the spine. And there is what I do, Acupuncture.

In addition to this, there are also Chinese Herbal Medicines to treat the back. I keep an assortment of these Chinese Herbal Medicines in my office.

Neither the surgeon nor I will necessarily use the vocabulary or the exact methods of the Chiropractor, however.
