The Sun Health Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) charity dedicated to Traditional Health Care research. The foundation's mission is as follows:

1.    To Promote the Public Health.

2.    To Encourage, Recognize, Publicize and Reward Excellence in the Teaching, Learning and Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

3.    To Encourage Entry into and the Pursuit of the Discipline of TCM.

4.    To Cooperate with Sponsoring Institutions in the Pursuit of Common Scientific, Educational and Charitable Purposes.

The current project of The Sun Health Foundation, Inc. is to distribute clinic record software to member clinics that will send reports back of clinic records as case studies to be used to track the effectiveness of treatments and medicines. Member clinics will ultimately be able to research questions by querying the database online, and thus will be in a position to always give the best and most effective treatment and medicines to their patients as established by the statistical analysis of the best outcomes of the various treatments and medicines for common conditions. I have been involved with the Sun Health Foundation, Inc. since its inception.

The medical profession is rooted in the past and adapts to modern technology very slowly. Some clinics do not have computer equipment at all or if they have it, it is used for writing letters and tracking money rather than to accumulate data for the research of health questions.
