Traditional Chinese Medicine is not commonly seen as spiritual, but I contend that it is. The ancient Chinese who developed this art/science spoke often of "qi" which can be translated as "soul". In other ancient Chinese medical writing it was made clear that when the body and soul were separated, life was over. I present a section here on "Meditation" in terms of the Judeo-Christian heritage because this is my cultural background. For you and your own health, it is important that you approach God as you understand God. The bottom line is that if you are sick, you need God - your God, the God of your faith. |
